Various Artists - Folk Magic Review

With so many Punjabi records ringing up the charts lately, ‘Folk Magic’ has made its arrival. Punjabi lovers especially in U.K. have loved the album and the sales of the records have been off the charts since its arrival. Folk Magic hit the charts on April 26, 2007 and has been giving great results.

Folk Magic is a collection of many Punjabi folk songs with a bit of western touch to them. Most of the tracks have been produced by the upcoming DJ/Producer AMX, who should be releasing his debut album very soon. AMX has produced 6 tracks on Folk Magic, other producers on Folk Magic include DJ Harvy, Chan Kudhal and Chan. Many known Punjabi singers from across the U.K. and asian nations have sung the tracks for Folk Magic. Names like Kaka Bhainiwala, Lehmber Hussainpuri, Kulwinder Laddu, Ranjit Mani, Rai Kalsi, Labh Janjua, Preet Mahadapuria and Surinder Saini have sung songs for ‘Folk Magic’. It has ten awesome tracks filled with theme of Punjabi Folk.

‘Oh Jandi’ sung by Lehmber Hussainpuri and produced by AMX has been doing very well. The video for the track has already been released. Lohri by Kaka Bhainiwala is an awesome track with a wonderful music score. It is a must hear for every one. Another song that got the people off their feet is Boliyan by Surinder Saini. It includes some tracks that can really rock a dance floor true. ‘Jandi Nachdi’ and ‘Tere Sangeh’ are the ones that have really got me moving.
