Miss Pooja - 12 Chooriyan Review

The beautiful Miss Pooja has been highly acclaimed throughout the Punjabi Music Industry as a wonderful duet singer. However, with Miss Pooja pulling out new solo album she is out to prove to everyone that she can perform well as a duet singer and as a solo artist. 12 Chooriyan is the name of her new album and it has hit the charts on July 12 2007. Critics thought that it would be tough for the female singer to make this switch over from singing duets to going on solo. However, she has proved that she is as good solo singer, as she is a duet if not better. Release of the album was a much-awaited one for the fans and everyone is expecting a chartbuster from 12 Chooriyan.

12 Chooriyan is a collection of 12 colorful songs and does justice to the name of the album. Some well-known artiste of Punjabi Music Industry that includes Lal Kamal, H.Guddu, Nick & Michael has composed music of the album. Released under the label Music Waves, the lyrics of the album have been written by Sivia Akhatar, Jasvir Gunacharia, Karamjit Puri, Jelly Manjit Puri & Raj Kakra. There are some added tracks from old Punjabi Movies. Fans have admired the works of H. Guddu for the album.

‘Gagrr’ and ‘Barah Chooriyan’ has been the most talked about tracks from the album. Four bonus songs that include the super hit ‘Rotti Pakdi Karke’ have been added to the album.
