Mehsopuria is a UK born vocalist and an icon in Punjabi Music. He was unearthed to the field of bhangra music in the year's 2003-04 and gave a clear indication that ‘a star is born’. His debut album sold very well in the UK and India, it became one of the highest selling worldwide album's in 2004. The newest creation from Mehsopuria is ‘Warrior’ and is equally wonderful as his first album. Warrior – the Album under the label of Pranay Records Ltd which Mehsopuria has a hand in hit the music stores on April 23, 2007. It has been having very strong sales success ever since it was released.
The album covers a culture of both the East and the West. It has a sound blending of both the culture in 10 strong tracks. Hip Hop genre of the West meets the Bhangra culture from the East. Hollywood, U.S. Hip Hop and Atlanta’s finest stars, have sung with U.K. Bhangra sensation Mehsopuria for one of the best tracka of the album ‘Patna’ (Punjabi for ‘I want to make you mine’). The track is now a hit number for most dance floors. Tracks ‘Tu Meri’ & ‘Maapeh’ that feature another awesome singer Bella are one to watch out for apart from ‘Patna’.
The music and lyrics of the album has been highly acclaimed by critics and fans all around the world especially the U.K. fans of Mehsopuria. The videos of the album are attractive to say the least. Mehsopuria's Warrior is one album to watch out for.
