Juggy Kang - Straight Up Review

The year 2007 has seen the coming up of many Punjab Bhangra Artists, but none can match the talent and the caliber of the 22-year-old Juggy Kang, a young Punjabi from the small town of Huddersfield, UK. After trying his hand at DJ-ing, the charismatic singer tried his talent in the field of producing and with his relaxed approach; he has produced an excellent album. Straight Up is sure to take the young Juggy Kang straight up to the top of the music charts. Straight Up hit the music stores around the world on February 12, 2007 and has shown its color from the very first day to all the music lovers.

Straight Up has a blend of Punjabi culture with the western side. The music is spontaneous and has an organic theme to it. The record has a collection of 8 dancing and original tracks with buoyant and soothing vocals and sound. Lyrics from Shiv Malri, Teji, Sagar Mallsiya, Sharan Gidda and Jaswinder Patti have been of high quality and have complemented the production very well.

Ravi Duggal has been the most famed new singer of ‘Straight Up’ and has three wonderful numbers to his name with the backup of his dynamic singing and music from Juggy Kang. ‘Addi’ and ‘Teriya’ sung by Ravi Duggal are excellent songs and the future seems bright for Ravi Duggal as well as new producer Juggy Kang. Goga Thakkar, Bhagwant Pawar, Jaswinder Patti and Ravinder Malri are the other singers who graced the album with their electrifying vocals. Juggy Kang Straight Up has been released on a recently new record label trading under the name of Xplosive Soundz and the album ‘Straight Up’, Juggy has given a new direction to all these charismatic singers and opened a new world of success to them.
