His music has been getting people up and dancing at parties across the globe, even making the reluctant party goer lose all inhibition and screw a light bulb or two.
In 2004 he brought us 'Nain Preeto De' and 'Nachdi', in 2005 he caused pandemonium with 'Aaj Mein Peeni' and in 2007 dancefloors were set ablaze with the massive hit 'Jaan Panjabi'. Prepping us for the party scene in 2009, the hit maker, Panjabi By Nature returns with a fresh batch of tracks with the release of the highly anticipated album - 'Homegrown'.
Since his last solo release 'Ready or Not' in 2005, the producer has been working his magic with others including Dippa Dosanjh's 'Dhola Ve Dhola' as well as the smash hit anthem 'Jaan Panjabi', and is now ready to release his fourth solo album in early 2009. Currently Panjabi By Nature is busy putting the final touches to this latest offering, ensuring he delivers his formula of infectious beats and catchy hooks which in the past have had dancefloors singing and dancing in unison.

The new album features the finest Panjabi talent including Lembher Hussainpuri, Miss Pooja, Dippa Dosanjh, Charanjit Channi, Sameera and Apna Sangeet's K. S Bhamrah.
This time around Panjabi By Nature wanted to make the sound stronger and revive the use of live instrumentation and the sounds of live Bhangra bands. The album features some of India's finest classical sarangi, mandolin and flute players, including the tumbi talents of K.S Bhamrah (the man behind the tumbi sample in 'Mundia to bach ke'). Every track on the album has also been laced with fresh breaking dhol, dholki and tabla rhythms played by a number of percussionists from the UK's finest Bhangra bands.
The first release from the album will be the highly anticipated track – 'Aashiq' featuring the artist of the moment, Miss Pooja. The track will be hitting airwaves and your TV screens this December. Get ready to see and hear what happens when you team up the hit maker of Panjab with the hit maker of UK Bhangra.
So, DJs prep your decks and dancers warm up for one big party in 2009 with Panjabi By Nature and 'Homegrown'.
Featuring 10 new tracks and the finest vocalists, ‘Homegrown’ not only caters for the avid party-goer but also showcases PBN’s diverse production skills with a mix of musical styles and genres. Inspired by Bhangra fans and the current music scene, PBN has created an album with a little something for everyone. May it be dhol laced party anthems or smooth R&B jams or your typical desi vibes, the album is jam packed with musical delights each treated to PBN’s hit making formula and will leave you wanting more.
A truly versatile and diverse producer, the album showcases different sides to PBN. ‘Naa Reh Naa’ sees the producer take inspiration from Bollywood for a sweet love song, whilst ‘Vas Challeh’ is the perfect R&B flavoured Panjabi track for cruising in your car. Furthermore, he infuses desi beats with bassline for the track ‘Chardi Jawani’, which brings back the hit collaboration of PBN and Charanjit Channi from the super anthem ‘Jaan Panjabi’.
Not abandoning the style that has made PBN so successful, the album also delivers a selection of huge Bhangra numbers like ‘Saddi Gal’ and ‘Nach Le’ featuring Lehmber Hussainpuri. Teaming up with another Bhangra star, PBN and Apna Sangeet’s K.S Bhamrah, create a new version of the popular ‘Jagoo’ song, complete with new lyrics and melody. A must at every Indian wedding. Giving into popular demand, PBN teams up with Miss Pooja for a second track. Wanting to demonstrate that a Miss Pooja duet doesn’t have to have a typical desi composition, the songstress’ vocals have been paired up with A.S Amar and placed over heavy bass drop and beats in ‘Ah Ni Bhabiye’.
Taking his career a step further and the album a notch higher, the real surprise is PBN’s singing debut on ‘Sohni Lagdi’. This song is being panned as UK Bhangra at its best. With a sing-along hookline and fun melody, the track brings together two of the Midland’s finest musical talent. Apache Indian collaborates with PBN on this track and further strengthens the song, giving it a commercial vibe and gearing people up for the summer. A very special and extremely personal project for the producer, the song will firmly place PBN as one of the UK’s most talented and well-rounded musicians and artists.
Promising a mixture of big dance numbers, desi melodies, smooth vibes and the finest Bhangra beats, 'Homegrown' is out now via Limitless records. The album features Lehmber Hussainpuri, Charanjit Channi, Sameera, Miss Pooja, Dippa Dosanjh, Kulwinder Kinda, Jaswant Nagina, Apache Indian and Apna Sangeet's K. S Bhamrah.
