 Cheena The Playa

From the label that gave you albums such as Bhangra Muffin and Dhol Blasters - Saint Records UK are now back with a vengeance with the follow up to Loud ‘N’ Proud.  This Album is called ‘The Playa’ and is a fusion of Punjabi beats and desi vibes.  The singer is a young gun called Inderjit Cheena.
Cheena is not only talented but with his lady killer looks he has his finger on the pulse of what this Album and indeed what the young music scene is all about.  Cheena was head hunted by Saint Records’ boss and producer, the legendary Mick St Clair whilst scouting for talent during production of Saint Records’ last Album, Loud ‘N’ Proud. ‘The Playa’ is innovative, refreshing and young.  Some of the songs are also written by Cheena himself.
Over the past five years or so we have been bombarded by the monotonous vocals of artists who are not developed by record companies, but have jumped from one to another to make a quick buck. Saint Records believe that new artists should be given the chance to develop into established acts and that is why Saint Records have given Cheena the chance to release this 10 track debut Album.
